What is Tavel wine?

Tavel is France's only 100% rosé appellation (AOC), historically the wine of the Avignon popes. Several estates can be visited on foot or by bike around the house.

Yes, bikes are welcome. The ViaRhôna and the “Vine by Bike” loop cross the Tavel and Lirac vineyards, starting from the house.

Yes, the entire house can be booked privately — ideal for a family or a group of friends wanting the whole place to themselves.

Are pets allowed?

We have animals at the house (hens, cats). If you'd like to bring yours, please contact us before booking so we can arrange it together.

When is the best time to visit Tavel?

Spring (May-June) and autumn (September-October) are the loveliest shoulder seasons, between wine tourism and cycling. July is lively with the Avignon Festival, and October-November with the saffron bloom.
